1998 chevy lumina ltz front wheel hub. Are the bolts that hold the calaber housing, not the calaber. reverse thread?

No, they are not, although they can be very tight.

They are best removed with an impact wrench.

These are special, locking torx bolts (#55) and I would not use an impact gun on them as they will strip out the head very easily and the gun isn't very helpful anyway. I usually have to break these loose with a long breaker bar.
