1998 chevy camaro a/c

if you are leaking like that there are NO GOOD sealers,nomatter what an autopartsguy will tell you. They are only good for very small leaks an dnot reccomended because they can CLOG other parts of the system. Get it leak checked and fixed. You should NEVER hold a refrigerant can upside down because that allows Liquid into the system and can easily break the valves in a compressor. The reason there ar no ports that you can't seeis because youreally aren't qualified to work on an a/c system and will eventually end up hurting yourself. take it to a pro.

I am qualified in a/c. I work with 410a and I work on r22 systems for housing. I have looked all through the car there are no service ports. Also I have put r22,r134a and r410a into a system as a liquid in house a/c and they have done well with me putting in it as a liquid. I didn't think that you couldn't put it into a car system as a liquid but I wasnt sure. I put cliplight sealer in my 1992 cadillac deville and it has done fine. I also put cliplight in r134 and in r22 and they did good to it sealed the leaks.

i'm not going to go into an argument, but the way you described your last post it certainly soundedlike you weren't qualified. Besides if you do home unit you should know that turning a freon can upside down makes it a liquid and is not the thing to do. But look on the or follow the low an dhigh side lines for the service ports. the low side may be near the evaporator or compressor, maybe towards the front of dash. the high side may bepartially hidden along the frame on the driver's side. the 92 caddy didn't have the orficed screen in it either so wouldn't plug like a camaro would. Your compressor seal or one of the orings amyb have a severe leak in it when it builds pressure it leaks more.

i have put liquid in my 134a system all the time(once a yr)no problems.
