Clutch replacement 1998 A-4 Quattro, how to determine if need to replace split flywheel when ordering parts

my Audi A-41.8t Quattro is in need of clutch replacement, I am not sure how to order the right parts and if I need to replace flywheel, I know if it is a split flywheel it needs to be replaced, but I am not sure how to determine if it is, is there a website with

audi that if I input the vin number it will tell me?

Yes, the vin will help. As far as the flywheel, check it for any cuts, heat spots, thickness...
