I just replaced my alternator and now my car has absolutely no power. I think I grounded the alternator wires as sparks flew but i then disconnected the negative terminal on the battery but when i reconnected the negative terminal the car has absolutely no power anywhere. the 100 amp battery fuse looks blown. could this be the cause or what else should i look for

You never unhooked the battery before you started changing the alternator? That was a big mistake.Yes that 100 amp fuse is a main fuse replace it and see what happens also look for more blown ones.

If the main fuse is blown your vehicle will have no electrical power.
