Is there such a thing as a 1997 Volvo 450 DL? If so, what does the '450 DL' stand for and are they a reliable used car? What kind of gas mileage can be expected and is 165K for mileage reasonable? Would you recommend this as a decent used car purchase and if so, how much should I pay for it?

No there is not such a model in the USA? If you google Volvo 450 you get images of crawler excavators, something you would use on a construction site.

There is a Volvo 850 GLT for that year, is this the car in question?
