Mr. Technician,
If one of the two-wire connector to the charcoal canister is severed, will the charcoal canister store a DTC?
the reason i ask the above question: i'm in the process of replacing ( and also relocating) the vacuum switch valve because of DTC related to EGR valve. While searching for the VSV, i discovered the cut wire of the 2-wire connector to the charcoal canister, and i was wondering if this cut wire could have been the source of the DTC.
( i'm still going to relocate the VSV because it was a challenge to get to it ( located behind motor). i already disconnected the vacuum tubes and the connector. waiting on the new part.)
Thanks
