moter oil leaking from bottom pan, and engine ideling rough?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if its normal or abnormal-you're leaking oil when this happens you'll have a low oil pressure-Scan the computer for code/s -you need to fix the leak-dried up cylinders will scuffed rings/pistons/cylinder and will cause the engine compression to be low-imbalances

Thanks for the advise. You mention mechanic oil pressure gauge-- scan for codes, is this something I should have done at a garage, or can I do it? novice!

Bring her in to a reputable shop for diagnosis this is beyond you-there's other things involved other then the leaky oil pan-
