Corolla 1997 A/T, no Reverse or 3rd gear

Hi, I have a 1997 Toyota Corolla 180I GLE A/T. bought the vehicle gears were fine. took out the box, replaced the pump, driveshaft seals, gasket and oil. Ovehauld the engine. Test drove, no problem. Sent for the interior to be done, came back with no reverse or 3rd gear. Checked and set cable and switch, no improvement. Dismantled the valve body, found the gaskets worn, replaced gaskets, o-ring, balls cleaned and refitted. Drove with no problem on test drive. Vehicle stood for +-5 hours. go in to go home, no Reverse or 3rd. Any Suggestions please??
