HI there,

I have a problem with my 97 Caldina, it makes a whining noise (usually when cold only) at around 60-70kms but will disapear when you go faster or reduce speed. I was thing maybe a bearing in the transmission/tranfercase or maybe incorrect oil? I dont think wheel bearing as this would make it all the time right?

thanks for you help

Check wheel bearings, axle bearings, and proper lubrication for the transmission and transfer case.
