Whenever I start the vehicle especially in the morning, usually the engine runs high up to 1500 rpm and then lowers to 800 rpm and stabilise within a minute.
Currently whenever I engage R or D, the vehicle hits/ jump very much, when I engage N the engine rpm accelerates itself to 2000+ for sometime before it comes back normal again. The shock I get in vehicle is like I engage R or D in highly accelerated engine, like it want to fly away but held by the brakes.
I checked with my mechanic who tried to lower the "silencer" only to find it at the minimum and the problem still persist.
What can be solution to this?

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides an diac hole with choke cleaner and check for a vacuum leak.
