1997 Subaru Wagon rear ghatch liner removal

Door panels are usually held in place with a couple screws and several plastic retainer plugs. Carefully check for screws and remove them if found. Next, gently pry outward on the panel / cover and using a flash light, locate the plastic retainers. Using a screw driver, gently pry the plastic clips away from the steel door itself. Once all are removed, the panel should come off.
