Check to make sure all battery terminals and the main ground are clean and tight. Let me know what you find.

yes. both terminals are clean and tight. Forgot to mention that. The main ground is tight. I loosened it and retightened.

Are you getting 12v to the starter when the key is in the start position?

yes it is. Its like its kicking out the bendix but its not turning. Will kick in and turn when off the car...

I think you have a bad starter.

A bad starter or no power from the battery directly to the starter.

Thats what I thought. But when I took the starter off the car and crossed it over...it kicks the bendix out and its turning. Thats with 12v supply from a jump box

yea, its quick. I'll try a new starter and see if that helps me. Hope it does. I just thought maybe there was something to check between the ignition and starter. I'll let ya know what happens

Sounds good. Keep the receipt so you can return the new starter if that doesn't help.
