I am working on replacing my crankshaft position sensor. I know how to do it and where it is located. I just cannot get any tool I use to actually turn it. I am having a hard time because my starter is in the way.

ok, firebird and sunbird are completely different cars

the sensor is common for sticking into the block once unbolted. spray it down well with lube and try turning it back and forth before trying to pull it up.

it is in the front of the motor towards the front. not an easy job as if it breaks, you may have to drop the oil pan to drive it up
