How do I change the trunk lock on my 1997 Olsmobile Cutlass? I have a new lock, I can't determine how to install the linkage.

If you look at it from the inside, there will be a flat metal strip with a slot at the end which is slip into a locking groove of the lock. Remove the locking strip and the lock will pull right out.
