why do i still have a ticking or clicking sound?

i replaced my lifters all 12 of them putt everything back together but then when i started it it continued to make the noise. However the noise is still on the passenger side of the 4.3l i have in it just like before i replaced the lifter and everything is tight that i made sure of. so what else could it be
