Have A 1997 oldsmobile Aurora with a 4.0 v8 Replaced the starter which is located under the intake manifold. But im not gerring power to the purple soleniod wire. is there a starter relay that sends the power if so how do i test it and does the reley supply grond to turn the power on or does it supply power i know sometimes it could be either way. i unplugged the purple wire at the two spade plug and tested both spades for power but nothing.Possibly a bad ground? Please help as soon as you can very cold here trin to put it back together.thanks
