Have check engine light on.....would not pass smog......got code for a canister purge control valve.....bought one and change it out....the problem is can't reset engine light....read all the forums , like turn key on press gas pedal 5 times wait 7 seconds press gas for 10 seconds and your supposed to get a blinking light.....my truck does none of that. One blog said to disconnect your battery for two hours, I did and now cant even get it to crank at all. Battery seems charged......did I screw up the Engine control module in some way? Tried jumper start no help....does anyone have any suggestions.....
