the car just got out from a workshop about a month doing top overhaul.but still got problem
1.easy to start
2.not smooth like 3cylinders only work
3.white smoke came out from the exhaust
4.no confidence to drive it on the road
5.dies when change to drive mode without pushing the fuel paddle.
6.timing is not constant and mostly getting dies.

-pressure test already done and no leaking
-head gasket already changed
-coolent does not decreased and normal.
-engine oil leaking just a bit and at an angle of the head.
-tuning havent done yet.
-and the mechanics dissammbled the timing chain without marking it first.

please give me some recommendation to solve this problem.

ur help would be appreciated.thank you

white smoke means raw unburnt fuel. sounds like 1 cylinder is NOT firing. what is causing this? bad ignition parts or like you suggest, timing is off.

do a compression test to see if all cylinders are working fine. if timing was off when initially started after repairs, valve may have got bent. thus causing no compression to fire gas in cylinder.

Stalling and unstable RPM may be due to PCM need to relearn the idle
white smoke ,engine went under top end reconditioning and to me means that you had a head gasket failure ,coolant will enter the exhaust system and need to burn off
running on three cylinders ,DO you have a check engine light on and or blinking
common misfiring cause on a nissan other than a tune up is bad injectors
if have check engine light on 1st step is to get the codes
good luck
