Started to use engine oil,have had vehicle 4yrs,serviced regular,no oil leaks,no smoking,3.5 V6 petrol,thank you,I have used 5w 40 oil,and always a new filter,never used engine oil before went from sevice to sevice with no problem,average about 5.000 miles a year.

The best way to find this is to add a small bottle of dark purple dye to the oil, drive the car a few days, then search with a black light, including at the tail pipe. The dye will show up as a bright yellow stain that you can follow back to the source.
