transmission is stuck in third gear

Have it further checked-could be a hung-up shift solenoid or valve body problem

An error has been detected by the TCM and it is in "Limp Mode" You need to retrieve the trouble codes to find out what is wrong. ?Usually is a faulty solenoid on the valve body. Attempting to drive under such conditions would cause further damage to the transmission and cause it to fail completely.

check the pins in the valve body solenoids harness, if one pin is broken, replace the harness

this happened after i changed the solenoids valve harness for the transmission 1999 mitsubishi chariot only reverse but wont drive forward, when i change to D the car bucks and cut of the engine.

Sounds like the torque converter is engaging, stalling motor.

i just want to know if 4g93 mitsubishi rvr automatic gearbox can work on 4g63 mitsubishi chariot engine. my automatic gearbox on 4g63 mitsubishi chariot has broken down now want to replaceit with 4g93 rvr mitsubishi gearbox. are the automatic gearboxes interchangeable on 4g93 mitsubishi rvr engine and 4g3 mitsubishi engine?
