I know its not the battery, just got it tested. The starter got replaced almost a year ago. But there is a crack in the hose that carries the coolent. So it over heats fast cause the water leaks out quick. And just put in a new thermostat. I was going to fix this problem but now it dosent turn over. I'm thinking something got wet.I have been hearing about spark plugs and coil packs?? I have also been tring to find the engine reset button. Thank You!

Check all charging & starting cable connections first. Verify proper connections and check for corrosion/high resistance.

If the coil packs/ignition system was at fault, the truck would crank but would not start.

As far as an "engine reset" button is concerned, I can't say that I have ever heard of one. Do you mean the fuel pump safety cut-off (aka inertia switch)? The same applies to this - the truck would crank, but not start due to the lack of fuel pressure.

I would begin the diagnosis by checking all the connections in the starting and charging circuits. Perform voltage drop tests on the cable to determine if high resistance is present. Anything over .2vdc would indicate high resistance.
