error code reads 1oo mass air flow circut this is to be replaced could it mean any thing else i dont want to buy it then it bein also som ething else

codes never identify bad parts, just failed systems. you are making an expensive guess. i would have it properly diaged to confirm it is not a wiring issue or something else/
