Our Demio is extremely slow in take off when selecting any forward gear. Yjis is especially true after the car has stood for a couple of hours and in the early mornings. Regardless of engine revs it can be as much as two minutes before it starts pulling. Once drive is achieved there seems to be a bit of slippage for a short while. Thereafter the drive is very smooth and gear change is impressively smooth. Reverse gear engages as soon as it is selected.
The ATF Oil has been changed but I could not locate any filter. Please may I have your comments and recommendations on the next step to sorting the problem out. I have over the past 50 years carried out all my vehicle servicing and repairs but this oneis my first Automatic and it has me stumped.

we don't have that model in U.S. have a trans guy scan for codes but it sounds like it's an internal problem with trans like a clutch/seal issue
