I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee Sport, and I am replacing the oil sending unit, I need to know if I need a 1 port sensor or a 2 port sensor, and what is the difference between each one does it really matter?

it shows a two prong sensor in our diagram so go with that it's by the generator assuming this is a 4.0 and yes it matters as your fuel pump wont' work if it'snot right
