Preparation

* Battery ground cable

1. 3rd crossmember & transfer under cover
2. Exhaust front pipe
3. Heat protector
4. Starter wiring connector

o Disconnect the connector from terminals "B" and "S".

5. Mounting bolts

o Remove mounting bolts on inside and outside.

6. Starter assembly

o Remove starter assembly toward the bottom of engine.

INSTALLATION

5. Mounting bolts Torque N.m (lb.ft) = 40 (30)

4. Starter wiring connector

o Reconnect the connectors to terminals "B" and "S".
o Terminals "B" Torque N.m (lb.in) = 8.5 (73)

3. Heat protector

2. Exhaust front pipe

o Nuts Torque N.m (lb.ft) = 67 (49)
o Bolts and Nuts Torque N.m (lb.ft) = 43 (32)
