I have a bad u-joint in the front drive shaft. The bad joint is the one nearest the transfer case. I don't want to drive the car until the shaft is removed. If I unbolt this back half of the front drive shaft from the transfer case, will I just be able to pull it apart and drive the car with the front half of the shaft connected? Reason for the question is that this car is a long way from home and I can't just pop over there and find out for myself. Hope you fellows can help, Thanx, Charles
