I have a Honda Civic and I replace the battery and I want to reconnect the battery and it still wasn't starting and so I put the jumper cables on it and its parked like it said it would but then it's hard to get really really hot so I immediately took the jumper cables off and then I got told that I needed to reconnect everything and I did that and its still not starting do I need to connect it in a certain wayand with me doing that did it ruin anything and should I take it to a mechanic to have them look at it to be sure
