I have a Honda Accord 1997, and i am having trouble trying to figure out what went wrong with my transmission. Well what happened was that i overfilled my transmission with to much oil. So i attempted to remove the oil. i took off the hose that sends the oil from the oil cooler to the transmission and i drained the oil from there that hose while the car was on and in park. i than shut the car off, placed the transmission cooler hose back on, and i than noticed i had removed too much oil from the transmission, so i added a lil bit of the oil i removed back into the transmission. i than turned on the car and let it sit for a bit, i than begun to shift into each gear slowly so that the transmission oil could circulate, i than got it back to park. than i put my car shifting handle into Drive and the car would not move. the engine would rev up when i pressed the gas peddle but still no movement. It was the same thing with every other gear. i just cant figure out what could have went wrong?

Hello,

It sounds like when you where undoing the transmission cooler lines you bumper the gear selector sensor on the side of the transmission please recheck this connector and get back to me. Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

You are supposed to turn your car off when you do that and not leave it running.

Turn the car off and use a flashlight to make sure the connector is secure. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
