How do i locate and remove the slave cylinder?

i need to replace the slave cylinder and i cannot locate its actual position.

It's on the side of the transmission. It has a steel line/tube going to it.

Yes, automatic transmissions don't have clutches that are actuated by a pedal.

Removal is normally a matter of removing nuts and bolts after releasing the hydraulic pressure by opening a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder.

Depending on the model it may be an internal slave cylinder, if there is no sign of it externally, it will be internal and the box will have to come out to replace it.
