Open the bleeder and use a screw driver to pry them open. NOTE: Make sure the piston is not leaking as a result of over extension.

Where is it leaking from? Also, spray penetrating oil on the threads and let it sit for an hour or so. Tap it with a screwdriver, spray it again, and then try to remove.

The piston can be replaced if you open the bleeder. See if you can get it loose with vice grips and replace the bleeder. KEEP IN MIND, the bleeder can break.

If that is the case, then you should replace the caliper. Are you able to get the rubber brake hose off? Do me a favor, check the rubber hose to make sure it is good.

Once you open the hydraulic system, there will no longer be pressure on the pads. If you try now, you may be able to get them in. Take a flat screwdriver and see if you can slowly pry them back in. Try to guide the piston so it goes back in.

Let me know. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I'll be around later in the evening. I don't know if you are working on it. Regardless, have a great Thanksgiving and I will be around till late tonight if you have questions.
