On 97 GMC 5.7 L I have 55pounds of fuel pressure but will not start does not even try to start. I pulled the injectors and hooked it back up and watched the injector's and they did spit out a little fuel. But I don't know if was the right amount.

Also I had took the intake apart and pulled out all of the spray nozzles and cranked it over and watched the nozzles for the spray. It spit out a little but not much. was not sure how much I should see.

I am so sorry I haven't replied I haven't been getting all my email alerts so I have been behind in my replies because of it.If it starts with carb spray and not on its own like it should sound like a fuel issue.Looks like we have good fuel pressure. The injector power and ground pulse Are there. So not much fuel was spraying when you checked the injectors? Those spider types have tons of issues.Do you still have it all apart?

Yes I put it back together. Also to let you know the van sat for a year and was not started at all. When I had the intake apart and tried it it did not seem that the fuel was enough and it was not a good mist.I did clean the tips when I had it out.

All I did when I cleaned them was to wipe off the out side. I did not pull them apart. But if I do will it mess up the small hoses when I pull them off ? When I had it apart I pulled off the regulator and took out one of the injectors and I looked at the screen on the injector and it was clear. Should I use my air compressor to blow them out?

I blew one of those out many years ago if your not getting a nice fine mist then something mist be clogged up Especially since you said we have power to the injectors a ground pulse while cranking and good fuel pressure. You also said it starts on a prime but not without. So it has to be something wrong with the injector system. The spider could be brittle from all the years so no guarantee something won't break when unhooking each injector to blow it out.
