Did you have this problem before replacing those parts?

first off,thank you for replying wrenchtech,sorry for not revealing that pertinent info,no is the answer,it was running fine,just leaking from manifold front seal,so my nephew and i who are both pretty mechanically inclined dug in and tried to save my girlfriend some money and have become bewildered with why its not running correctly now,i did read a thread today that when changing a maf sensor you should disconnect your battery for 10 min and reattatch so that the ecm can relearn (reset its self),also i contemplated maybe fuel pressure is low? please respond with any ideas,thank you,ps if i had a credit card or bank card i would have been happy to donate something or if i were standing before you i would be happy to compensate you for your time and or trouble,i am appreciative for your input to this frustrating problem,(going on 2+weeks),thanks again

Well, I hate to say it but you didn't have the problem before you worked on it so it's likely something you did in the process. Go back over your work and look for damaged or pinched wires. Check the intake snorkel and all attaching hoses and make sure there are no air leaks between the MAF and the throttle body.

wrenchtech,well im glad you did say,we went through the applicable wiring,vacuum lines,even tried the ecm relearn process,assessed it couldnt have been the fuel pressure because it ran fine when the maf was disconnected,so we figured it had to be in the vacuum system somewhere but couldnt find exactly where,so we brought it to a friends mechanic and he put his vacuum reader on it and found nothing,he then put his electronic analyzer on it and found there was a vacuum leak somewhere,he grabbed a spray bottle of good old h2o and sprayed it around the purge solenoid valve and sure enough it sucked the water up right away,in the reassembly process we wrongly seated the purge valve,it took ten minutes to rectify a 2+week mystery(headache),old lesson relearned,always put it back the way you found it,by the way my nephew and i thinks its awesome that guys like you and others like you take time out of your day to help your fellow man in time of need,god willing keep up the good work,once again thank you and god bless.
