Hi. Please advice. I have bought a brand new coil, coil wire and distributer cap. my car swings but wont start. I am a female and I know little to nothing and I am really getting frustrated with every body here.

Why was the coil replaced? Is there no spark to the plugs?

The coil was replaced because I was told there was no spark. I then bought a brand new coil, coil wire and a distributer cap. It still did not start and it keeps missing. I was then told it was my petrol pump. But according now to another person there is nothing wrong with my petrol pump. He took the rotor off, cleaned it and replaced. the car started first shot. But now I am worried that it will happen again.

If it is running okay now, chances are the problem was with the rotor. The only thing you can do is see if the problem comes back.
