Can you tighten a timing chain on a ford fiesta 1997 1.3 lx ?

Timing chains cannot be tightened ( adjusted if that is what you mean) The tension adjusters would automatically do it. If the chain is too noisy, it is time to get it replaced before it snaps and damages the engine.
