Car surges and stalls when at idle, hesitates when accelerating, has a sucking sound under the hood by the throttle body, my intake filter box doesn't close all the way, car doesn't run with made plugged it, engine will cut off after two seconds with it plugged in, scanner said i need a maf sensor a iav vavle and a crankshaft position sensor

Have you tried cleaning your Max with maf cleaner to see if it runs any better? Also if you air box leaks bad enough it will affect the way it runs.

Yes, and it only latches in one place, no clips or anything

So you did clean the Maf?Also did you try lightly taping on the maf with a screwdriver handle to see if it runs any different?Also have you checked for vacuum leaks?You need to get some latches or use zip ties or something to seal that air box up.

Yes I did clean it, it doesn't run with the maf plugged so I've never been able to test it like that. I was just going to get a new type of filter and just get rid of the air box

Have you checked it for codes yet?I would write the codes down then clear them with the maf plugged in.Then try starting it with the Mac plugged in and see what codes set.
