1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 engine. Recently replaced water pump. Since then can't get rid of antifreeze smell in cabin. Did not replace bypass hose. Wondering what function the bypass hose serves. Also it appears the smell shows up as the engine reaches operating temp.
