Where are the o2 sensor locations of a 97 Dodge Stratus 2.5 liter v6?

I found one under the car but the more I think about it as a struggle to get the part off it feels like it's too far back under the car and I think I need....the downstream one, if I remember right it was Bank 1 Sensor 1...but either way I just need to know where the one that isn't attached to the catty is located. I got it checked at Autozone a while ago and I lost the receipt with the code on it but it was definitely an o2 sensor I remember that, and when I looked it up online the code related to bank 1 Sensor 2 and I found out that that's downstream and I found the one that's really easy to find but after looking around a bit more online I found out the location so thanks anyway. Now It'd be nice to know an easy way to get to it because it's behind almost the entire bottom of the car.

OKey guys i can't find any other sensor!! so i replace this one but i am pretty sure that is not the Bank 1 sensor 1 ( which is the one i need) Look at the picture and please tell me where could be located and if this is the one?

i believe that is the sensor after the converter, if that is what that is before it. if that the catalytic converter, that is bank 1 sensor TWO. the 1st sensor should be on the exhaust manifold BEFORE the converter.

some prefer to reach it above some below, rent or buy a o2 socket to remove it without damaging the wires.

run the vehicle and let it warm up first before trying to remove it, be careful it will be hot.

use anti seize compound when you reinstall it if the new sensor does not come with it

Where is the o2 sensor Bank 1 sensor 1 in a dodge stratus 97 2.4 ? i have a check engine light up! and i put the scanner , it says Bank 1 sensor 1.

I replace one , but i think it was the # 2 and is down too! so im kind of lost where is exactly ill try to find a picture thanks ;D

you have two
before and after the catalytic converter
which one did you replace
# 1 is before and # 2 is after the converter

It must be #2 cause the scanner still saying Bank 1 sensor 1 :D so to reach it its under the car right?

Check in the exhaust manifold have # 1 oxygen sensor

I rear ended someone a while back, thought most of the damage was cosmetic. Replaced the AC condenser and Radiator. Had the car running then it just quit and would not start again. Was told that it needed a new PCM. Replaced the PCM and it is still blowing the fuse that controls the PCM, ASD Relay, Injectors, Alternater Field, DIS Coil, Oxygen Sensor Heater, EGR Solenoid, Downstream Oxygen Sensor.

We were thinking there must be a short someplace. Any Ideas?

Hello, when does the fuse blow? As soon as you plug it in, when you turn the key on or when you crank it?

If you think the problem is a circuit controlled by the asd relay, unplug those circuits one at a time. Injectors, primary circuits for the coil, o2 sensor.

I don't have the individual amp draws for the circuits, so unplugging them may not be a conclusive test.
