It was overheating, so I bought and had replaced a new thermostat, also a new water pump. The motor isn't feeling hot, but yet the meter on the dash is showing it's hot.

Is it actually overheating/boiling over or just the gauge is telling you its hot-check and test the coolant temperature sensor. This guide can help us fix it

Please run down this guide and report back.

No it is not boiling over. It is just the gauge. I've replaced the thermostat, and water pump. What can I do?

I don't have the extra cash to spend. I'm a low income ****** of 2, trying to make it. I bought the Coolant/Temperature sensor today to put on it, so maybe this will fix it! :)

You need to find the leak and fix it, I can't tell where it is without looking?

As far as overheating does it boil-over? Check the thermostat-- radiator fan--coolant flow-- check for combustion gases in the coolant.

check the thermostat as that may have been the issue but now i would also suspect a head gasket from the overheating. have a leak down test done to be sure
