What special tools do I need to replace the front hubs on a 1997 Chev k1500?

I have the chilton manual, and it says I need a puller. What kind? Is this a fairly easy job for the average home mechanic?

I don't know what "the average home mechanic" means. It's 4 wheel drive so it isn't a piece of cake. You will need some basic sockets and one very large one and a good hammer
