97 chevy s10 5 speed manual trans. when in first gear and starting out from stop and start to move forward and gain speed it makes a slight whine noise and the noise lightens up more in second and when in third i dont hear it at all, the same with fourth and fifth gear no noise. hoping it's not something i have to worry about or not that expensive. also make the noise if im just rolling in first with the clutch not pressed w/out giving it gas to move.

if the whine is coming from the ttransmission its not going to be. Cheap easy fix.

any thoughts of what it might be. because i can shift fine and there is no any other problems

Could be a input shaft bearing inside the transmission or other parts inside the transmission. Without pulling the transmission and taking it apart can tell you for sure what it is.
