1997 Chevrolet S-10 power steering pressure limit

I have converted a 97 S10 to electric drive. I wanted to keep the power steering, but I don't want to run it from a belt on the motor. So I bought an electric PS pump from a Volvo C30 and am having a custom high pressure line built to connect the Volvo pump to the S10 gear. I need to know what is the pressure limit on the S10 system. I will also need to know how much pressure the Volvo pump can produce, or perhaps just install an extra relief valve to keep the Volvo pump within the S10's limit. Any info or advice is appreciated.

What are you using a electric power plant? Southern California Edison had those electric s-10s and they used the gm EV1 gear box and motor.I saw on when I went to training for The gm ev1 at the gm training center.

I removed the 2.2 gas engine (had a bad head gasket) and replaced it with a Warp9, a 9" electric motor from Netgain. Motor is mated to the original 5-speed trans. The traction pack is 144 volts of LIFEPO4 batteries.
I thought buying an electric hydraulic pump would be easier than cobbling an electric motor to the original PS pump... maybe not, in hindsight. Any help on the pressure limit? or the pressure output of the Volvo pump? So far I'm looking at 1,100 psi on the S10 end; not sure if that's accurate.
