My drivers window won't work and I've checked the fuse in trunk

Winters coming and ths great grandmother is anxious about the window being down. Have a friend who would help take door panel off to get window up and just leave it up but unsure how to get panel off and how to get window up. Help would be appreciated. Susan

This system would not let me put in more than 5 digits for mileage so the car has 120,000 miles

THERE IS ALWAYS THE POSSIBILITY OF A BAD SWITCH....MAYBE COULD BE OTHER STUFF TOO

did the window work when u held the switch to go up.and banged the inner panel.these motors just quit.i would just pull them into the shop hold the button and bang on the door panel 95 percent of them start working.they had a big problem with the armiture in the motor.if that doesnt work checkyour voltage to and through the window switch
