I am rebuilding the rack & pinion on a 96 toyota tacoma 4x4 and the sheet of instructions is not clear at all about witch way seals are supposed to go on. Can you give me instructions and a photo would be great to.
The rack & pinion was leaking bad out of the covers. A friend gave me another rack & pinion out of a 2001 tacoma and it all matched up. I took the better of the 2 and made one but, it leaks even more. I also replaced the power steering pump. I was going to rebuild it but, when i tore it down there was a lot of friction and burning. I cleaned the shaft with a scotchbrite and 500 sand paper. THANK's David
