1996 Toyota Prado 3rz engine cuts off 15 to 20 seconds.

Do you have a check engine light? Fuel pump could be failing-check/monitor fuel pressure if its within specs-also clean out the idle air control valve

yes the engine light has been checked lights on The vehicle starts for 15 - 20 sec and it cuts off once the engine is hot it's running well but the engine light is still on clean throttle body clean air-flow

yes the code is 12 24 33 according to the code we check all the parts later on code 24 and 33 is gone

Did you check the fuel pressure and what is the reading?

no i havn't checked the fuel pressure
After 1-2 minutes when the engine gets hot the van is working well
I've driven the van today in the motorway and it worked really well but the light stays on

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor-this is like your choke on a carbuertor to enrich the fuel during initial start ups-

I replaced the second-hand coolant temperature sensor
but still the same problems

This sure sounds like the fuel pump is failing here is a guide to check the pressure and another guide to show you what you are in for when changing the pump out.

Yep that was the problem the pressure was low so I replaced the pump the engine has never run this good :) thanks for your help I love this site.
