why is the vehicle not accelerating?

1996 Toyota mark11 instead of accelerating when you press on the pedal it raves. its an automatic 6 cylinder

Like in neutral? fluid level good? color ? suspect clutches in trans slipping

No Docfixit, like when its in motion e.g when overtaking and you want to increase speed it doesnt it just raves when you in drive. Fluid level is good the color is great coz it has just been changed since the vehicle just came from service
