gas smell inside

My 1996 Toyota Camry has a gas smell inside. I went to 2 different shops and they both said the tank is rusty but has no leaks and that they do smell gas..they said maybe try not filling the tank up.. i burn alot of gas..... Help

The smell may be coming from a cannister full of fuel. go to a shop and have them check it for you.

evap cannister in the back of the car above the fuel tank. let a shop check it for you if you are not sure what or where it is.
