Could I have gotten the wrong Bank 2,1 o2 sensor when it was replaced recently? Is the bank 1,1 o2 about to fail. No codes exist. Has anyone dealt with this issue? It has only one sensor for the bank 1,2 and it sortof follows the Bank 1,1 graph. Thanks

How would you even know that? Your code read can't display at the actual switching speed. It would have to be graphed out with a professional scan tool.

Hi , Sorry for not being more clear. I am using Pcmscan, a software on my laptop along with a ELM tool that plugs in to the DLC connector. The car is a 1996 Toyota Avalon V6.
I graphed over 1 minute all PID's my car uses. The O2 bank 1 Sensor 1 has one cycle(peak) in 8 seconds. The O2 bank 2 sensor 1 has three cycles(peaks) in 8 seconds. I can set the software to see only these two PID's when recording. I will do this asap.I was just hoping someone could help me understand this. Thanks.

It's not really that slow. I don't think the software is updating quickly enough.

Thanks WrenchTech. I will scan with just 2 pids. I just discovered the O2 I had put in was the wrong part number 13354 Bosch. Tomorrow I will get the right part 13355 Bosch and put in. And then scan.Attached is the Graph of the problem I had before the change. Thanks.

Hi, here's a graph where the two sensors, Bank 1,1 and Bank 2,1 are almost pulsing the same for about 5 seconds. Using only two PID's when scanned.

Why is this even an issue. Is it setting any codes?

No codes are setting. I noticed the LTFT for Bank 2 Sensor 1 was at +12% and was wanting to lower it. I am afraid it will cause the O2 to fail like the one I replaced. Thanks

I had gotten the wrong O2 sensor from Autozone installed. The difference was the length of the wires. So I switched it. I plan to attack the +12% Long term fuel trim next week actually. A few months late.

That is not going to cause the 0/2 to fail. All that is telling you is that the engine has a slight lean condition and the computer has compensated for it.
