Ignition problem

I have a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick and out of the blue the key wont turn and it is not the steering wheel lock.

Try wiggling the key. The tumblers could have seized. spray some WD40into the cylinders and repeat. Ensure the steering is not locked and pressing against the key cylinder while wiggling the key.
