what is causing my car to hesitate and stall?

my car starts and runs fine until I make a stop, such as at a store. Upon restart it often idles rough, hesitates upon acceleration and may stall. The car will eventually smooth out. Had full tuneup, new filters, replaced egr valve, temp sensor. Could it be the intake air temp sensor or maybe the fuel pump? thanks
