1996 Pontiac Firebird blinker

My blinkers stay on. I'm not sure why they don't flash. I've checked the fuse (it's in good condition), the hazards and brake lights work, eliminating a possible bulb problem. What could it be?

If they don't blink, chances are the flasher needs replaced. It's a cheap part.

Sorry it took me a while. Yes, the flasher was the problem. I picked one up from auto zone a few days layer and it worked like a charm. Again, thanks for your help, I do appreciate it.

It was kinda confusing at first because the Haynes manual says it was under the dash to the left of the steering wheel, but it wasn't. That was the hazard flasher. The turn signal flasher was in the right. Four different manuals and that's the first mistake I find in those otherwise awesome books.
